Ordering, Delivery, Returns, Exhanges, Terms and Conditions
Ordering
The pieces of jewellery shown on the site are all either unique pieces or are made to order and this will be specified with each listed item.
A piece that is shown in the 'Collections' area of the shop is 'already made' and is exactly the piece that will arrive. This means that should an order be placed the jewellery will ship in the 24-48 hours following the order confirmation.
It is often possible to make an alteration, and I am really happy to do this, but please check first and allow a little extra time for your order to ship. Generally there is only no charge- unless it is particularly complex or uses a large quantity of extra materials. I'm happy to provide a quote prior to purchasing and a top up invoice will be emailed once the piece has shipped.
A piece that is made to order will be clearly marked as so in the shop. It will be made in the style of the piece depicted, allowing for the natural variations inherent in handmade work. This option will allow you to customise your own sizing, add lettering and any other factors that can be varied. A delivery time frame (usually two weeks) will be specified with the item.
Sizing will be mentioned with most pieces.
Try to accurately measure wherever possible. Most pieces will have a description of how to best measure with them. If in doubt- email me.
Additional requests
There's an option as the order is placed to add a note so please do so if there's any extra information going in with it. This is useful for noting half sizes that aren't listed or specifying a date by which its needed and so on
When you order a piece of jewellery it will ship carefully packaged in tissue paper in its own box or envelope within a cardboard mailer box. A cotton bag( for larger/tangling pieces), care instructions, everything you need to know about returns and information about the maker will be in there too. Everything ships tracked and all packaging is recyclable. Nearly every aspect of the packaging is made from recycled materials too. I have gravitated towards less box and more useful cotton bag recently
Delivery
Free delivery in the UK
Items will be shipped via Royal mail 24 hour tracked. The mailers are slim enough to fit through a letter box and no signature is required. The piece will arrive within the 24 hour period.
An upgrade to special delivery is available at the checkout for a subsidised price equivalent to the free postage cost. If you would like a guaranteed next day delivery please use this- but the 24 hour tracked is pretty solid
International delivery
International delivery will incur a charge of £12.00 for tracked airmail delivery. Again this is a very subsidised price.
All packages will be trackable..
And will remain the responsibility of Daisy Dunlop Jewellery until safe arrival. In the event that a parcel goes missing every effort will be made to track it and a full refund offered if it is not found.
Orders will otherwise generally ship within 1-3 days.If you have an urgent delivery time frame please specify this and upgrade to special delivery.
Made to order pieces will take anywhere between a week and three weeks- but this will be clear at the point of ordering
All jewellery will be shopped boxed and carefully packaged
The jewellery posts out wrapped in tissue paper within a box or cardboard envelope within a mailer
If there is any damage to your item please return it for a full refund
Exchanges
Any piece can be returned in the 14 days following reciept of the jewellery
and the original price refunded in full or an exchange made according to the preference of the customer.The customer pays for the return postage, unless the jewellery itself is at fault in which case I pay.
Pieces of jewellery bought as a gift can be exchanged for up to one month afterwards....
Any Christmas gifts can be exchanged or refunded into the first week of January (even if they've been purchased in October)
Most jewellery items can be resized or otherwise altered to suit and this options runs alongside exchanging- for further details see aftercare
The customer pays for the return postage, but (within reason) the resize itself is free of charge

Terms and conditions
- All Pieces are can be returned within a 14 day period following receipt of goods, but must be returned intact. There doesn't need to be a specific reason for a return and any cost of posting back to me can be reimbursed if the jewellery is in any way at fault or the customer feels that the description was not accurate
- Once a piece has been returned a full refund will be issued (unless an exchange is more convenient for the purchaser).- Jewellery bought as a gift for another person can always have its return/exchange period extended, but please make this known at the time of purchase.-Until the jewellery has arrived its safety is my responsibility. If an order goes missing I will track it and if it fails to materialise a full refund or replacement will be offered
- Free UK shipping is generally via 1st class recorded which should arrive in 1-2 business days. If next day delivery is urgent please specify this when you order and upgrade to special delivery .
- Pieces that are 'as is' rather than made to order will generally ship within 48 hours. If an immediate dispatch is needed please specify this as you order.
- Everything is handmade. If a piece is made to order please allow for very slight differences in any castings, enamelling, metalwork and stones. It is important to recognize that these differences never compromise the aesthetic of a design and can instead be seen as a mark of the level of individual craftsmanship involved in the production of these pieces.
- Some pieces are ‘one offs’ in that the design and the combination of content and materials is only used once. Others may be designs that are repeatable to a degree, allowing for differences of colour, metal working, casting variations as each piece is individually crafted. This will be indicated in the description of the item.
- Each piece will be shipped with a sheet that details jewellery care and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to do their best to follow the suggestions. However, within reason, the jewellery will be repaired free of charge within the 1st year should the need arise and for a nominal fee subsequently
.- Once the content for a bespoke, custom or commission piece has been approved by the purchaser the transaction is final. Any changes that the customers feels need to be made will be made before the piece is considered finished
